Doing some different studies and jobs he found his passion for wine. Not only drinking he did want to know how to do and did start his study in oenology at the university in Geisenheim in 2006.

Before studying he has done some different trainings in Switzerland and New Zealand. 2008 he also started to work at Weinbau Ottiger in Switzerland where he could do his diploma thesis. Since than he has been working for Weinbau Ottiger and Johner Estate in New Zealand. With two harvest per year he got a lot of experience and is using it now for his own vineyard.
